The new server is up and running. Some configuration need to be done still but all services are up and performing well.

I have indentified a power supply issue on sv01. This has also influenced the bios settings.
Today. 23 november 2009, we have acquired a new server (Dell PE 1850) to replace sv01.
Currently the server is being tested on the memory, then a OS will be installed, then the additional software must be installed.
After this all backups must be imported and finally the server will go to the new datacenter.
We hope this process will be finished during the day tomorrow, latest in the early evening.
Today, 22 november 2009, server sv01 crashed. The issue has not been indentified yet.
Since this is the second time in 2 weeks, a replacement is due.
Server sv01 will be taken out of production and replaced by a new server.
Unfortunately it may take some days before a new server is delivered and installed.
In the meantime a regular reboot may prevent severe chrashes in the next few days.
